If you're a painter like I am, this bridge is made especially for you! It's absolutely the best. When I couldn't find what I wanted, I just decided to build it. Read for yourself, and I am sure you will agree, this in not only a beautiful tool, but a very practical one for your studio as well.
- The wood is 1/2 inch solid premium walnut. This makes it lighter, stronger, and much less bulky then the 1 inch poplar wood you find in most bridges.
- It is finished by triple sanding and then sealed with five coats of durable polyurethane clear coat. If you drop paint on it, just wipe it off. Most other bridges are un-finished, and end up looking like an old palette in a very short time.
- The edge is carefully finished to make it a perfect straight edge. Most other bridges will splinter if you use the edge, and soon are uneven and un-usable.
- Felt feet keep the bridge from scratching your desk and make for an even and steady platform from which to paint.
- Available in both 1.25 and 2.25 inch heights for even the tallest icon board.
