Donald F. Evans

Donald F. Evans is a software engineer who specializes in how to create websites that are accessible to people with disabilities. He is a subject matter expert in Section 508 1194.22 (Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications). He currently works as an Accessibility Engineer for DeQue Systems in Reston Virginia, and is contracted to the Dept of Education as a Section 508 Specialist.

He is also a student of Iconography and an icon painter. He has studied under:

• Anton and Julia Belov Master Icon Painters from the Kovchev Icon Painting Artel in Yarosloval Russia;
• Philip Davydov and Olga Shalamova of the Sacred Murals Studio in St. Petersburg, Russia;
• Master Iconographer Xenia Pokrovsky and Iconographers Marek Czarnecki and Anna Pokrovskya-Gouriev from The Hexaemeron Organization in the United States.
